Below is Slip-N-Slide's newest artist, Chloe with her first single, "B*tch in the Back."
When you talk about Slip-N-Slide in South Florida, you're talking about the same label that brought the rap industry Trick Daddy, Trina, Plies & Rick Ross, just to name a few. Back in the late 90's, Trick Daddy's voice could be heard thru every car speaker on the highest volume with Trina's voice to follow. He was the local hero and anyone associated with him had to be great. However, Trick Daddy's fame seemed to stay in S. Florida while Trina and Rick Ross became mega stars.
This artist here, Chloe is one of the worst rappers I have ever seen or heard, right above Kreayshawn. In addition to this song sounding like someone's first demo with a free beat she cannot rap, has no lyrical skills or ride the beat. If this is the direction that Slip-N-Slide is going in 2012, we are all in trouble. I played this song for my brother and he said "...fresher than tomatoes"????
Listen, I don't know what more to tell you, just don't subject yourself to listening to this tragedy and a waste of studio time past 45 seconds....
I first heard this song on the show, Braxton Family Values, performed by Trina Braxton, and I've kept the episode on my dvr ever since so I could replay it at my leisure. If this song doesn't make you want to do 3 minutes of hardcore cardio, I don't know what will!!
Where is Missy by the way? We need her on the scene and we need her now!! Thank you, Missy, for jumping on this track. Here is J. Cole with his latest..."Nobody's Perfect." The song is hot and the video is a very nice compliment to it (which was directed by Colin Tilley.)
"Sean "Diddy" Combs announces REVOLT, his new cable TV network. REVOLT is a revolution in music on television, a place where artists and their viewers come together and engage with technology and social media. It's a channel where new artists can share their work in the way it was meant to be: raw, uncut, and uncensored. REVOLT was selected by Comcast to be the first music network to truly leverage the power of social media, fueling the live music dialogue and influencing the music culture for the video-centric generation."
WHAAAAAAAAT?? DIDDY GETS HIS OWN NETWORK? I'M GOING STRAIGHT TO COMCAST'S MARKETING DEPT TODAY.
I'm sure Diddy will work extra hard to make this new channel bigger and better than BET and MTV combined. We need new talent!!
Wale never seems to disappoint. Thank you, brother.
When I first heard this song, Slight Work, playing yesterday, I immediately jumped into a pair of pink skinny jeans, turquoise Nikes, danced over to my television saved it onto my dvr. The video is very visually appealing to me and the boys look oh so fresh. Say what you want about Wale but he has consistently delivered since teaming with Maybach Music....Big Sean ain't bad either...
The song can be found on his newest album, Ambition (released 11.1.11).
Birthday Cake Remix from Rihanna featuring Chris Brown.
It's definitely a sexy song but the fact that these two are spending time together and breaking bread together appears to be a questionable career move
for both parties but hey its 2012,
I guess people are just trying to leave the past in the past,
